Banks' Mill Studios was set up to retain Graduate level skills in the creative industries in the Derby Area, by providing easy-in / easy-out workspace in studios, business and professional development support, with a view to helping graduates earn a living off those skills, either as a sole trader or businesses.

The Creative Industries Network is run by, and for, the creative businesses and individuals in Derbyshire, enabling us collectively to have a stronger voice within Derbyshire's economy. CIN gives the opportunity for creatives to mix informally, giving the chance to learn from each other, share skills and generate business.

CINTIN ( Creative Industries New Technology Initiative Network) is made up of 5 Higher and Further Education Institutions across the East Midlands, with support from the Creative Industries officer for Business Link, the emda Creative Industries cluster manager and the LSC. CINTIN has developed a shared vision of the issues impacting on the Creative Industries by working in close collaboration with SMEs and education to provide the very best in creative talent and skill.

Design Factory is an organisation committed to supporting, developing and promoting the design and craft sector in the East Midlands. They nationally champion an innovative network of designer/makers and manufacturers and deliver a wide programme of market and business development opportunities. The principal aim is to facilitate collaboration, raise awareness, create opportunities and innovate and encourage the growth of the regional craft and design sector.

Based at Broadway Cinema and Intermedia Film and Video and partnered with The Nottingham Trent School of Art and Design. LCBD

At the heart of Leicester’s emerging Cultural Quarter the Leicester Creative Business Depot seeks to support, stimulate and develop the city’s creative industries. Creative businesses can join the LCB Depot creative community by renting one of 55 workspaces, taking an LCB Depot postal address, or by accessing temporary office facilities with LCB Depot’s hotdesks. The building also boasts a fully licenced/ café bar, meeting and conference rooms, as well as exhibition and showcasing facilities.
